An American couple with Spanish roots wanted to have a house in the center of Barcelona to come from time to time and enjoy the architecture, the cuisine and the atmosphere of the city. They could not find a better location for their new home. In the middle of the Eixample neighborhood and right in front of Gaudí's Casa Calvet, they bought this house. The Mimouca studio carried out the remodeling and, respecting its modernist elements, and conferred a more modern design to the space.
In the part of the dining room, stand out the lamps in suspension, model BloomS5 of Prandina.
 The living room-kitchen is conceived as a single open and connected space. Although the rooms are open, the different floors, ceilings and lighting serve to differentiate the spaces. The floor of the entire floor is an Ebony and Co model Brittany parquet, except for the corridor and the kitchen, which are paved with new hydraulics with geometric and floral motifs.
The original elements of the house were preserved and restored to give them back their splendor: from the hydraulic floors to the door and window locks, and, especially, all the parts of melis pine wood that recover their original color and the volta catalana, one of the most valuable architectural elements of the floor that, in addition, brings great amplitude to the space.
The space in the living room is presided over by furniture made to measure by the TV designed by Mimouca Barcelona in lacquer, iron and Marquina black marble that allows to hide the television and turn it into a bookstore.
