It would be interesting to walk around this apartment blindfolded, making his way from room to room to the touch, feeling at hand either the cold of a stone, then the cracks on an old tree, or the roughness of aged skin. Try to imagine the general picture of tactile sensations, and then compare what was drawn in the imagination with what the eye sees.

Textured apartment in Moscow, designed by Tatyana Stashchuk.The dresser in the bedroom, its facades are made of wooden piles on which houses stand in Venice. The living room has its own art object with history - a coffee table made from the root of an Indonesian tree. Tatyana Stashchuk had to make a table in the Moscow carpentry workshop, which agreed to work with Asian suppliers.

The brutal interior, built on a combination of textured surfaces, the apartment owners liked from the very beginning, at the time of the discussion. Honestly, living in such an environment is really not boring. It is also important that all the materials used to create the interior are environmentally friendly. 

Tatyana Stashchuk's project is based on aged wood, stone in various processing options, metal and concrete. To soften the image, crystal and some velvet and suede are added. It is clear that all these materials will age very beautifully, but even now they look spectacular. The owners of the apartment are satisfied, the designer too. According to Tatyana, she wanted to support the architecture of the Garden Quarters in the interior, and she succeeded.
