When my colleague Alessandro Capellaro and I were here for the first time, he immediately said that we would have to make a thirteen-meter wardrobe,” Sabrina Biniami, co-founder of b-arch design studio, begins her story. Thus, a full-wall storage system with matt black facades appeared in the dining room. This allowed the rest of the space to remain uncluttered.

Here, in a reconstructed old house, a young couple with two children live, who preferred the tranquility of a small town Prato to a noisy metropolis. “We wanted the apartment to be comfortable, and the decor to be concise and elegant, with a slight charm of the 1950s,” says the owner.

Fragment of the dining room. Vintage mirrors and vases from Extra Design Selection. The owners asked architects to create a minimalistic interior with a slight retro touch. So there appeared vintage furniture and furnishings, made-to-order according to sketches of b-arch design studio.
Architects have completely changed the original layout. “There were a lot of small rooms, and we love when a prospect opens, and we are not afraid to demolish all the walls for this,” Sabrina admits.

The space was divided into two zones - public with an open layout and private. In it, in turn, the nursery and the parents' bedroom with their bathrooms were smashed to different ends. So all family members can enjoy the peace and tranquility for which they moved here.
